Thermo Ash wood is strong and straight grained making it ideal for a large number of uses. It works well and responds to a variety of woodworking techniques. It is commonly used for flooring, sports equipment and tool handles and other joinery products. Thermo treating wood is a great way to improve durability, strength, Micro organisms and insects resistance. During the thermo treating process, the timber is heated to above 180C in abcense of oxigen and the process is causing cells change and turning the colour from pale cream white to dark chocolate brown.
